The project was the result of a multi staged tender bid to purchase land owned by the government. Highly considered design and extensive collaboration with the MRA and statutory design review panel was required to meet with the significant planning setback, sight line and building scale constraints required to 'protect' the view of the neighbouring listed heritage church.
An open atrium was designed in the centre of the building allowing a double frontage to the apartments and providing alternate indoor and outdoor living. The double frontage provides a generosity of cross ventilation and natural light.
